It opened in April as a holiday rental and is a fabulous grown up hideaway which is a blend of luxurious self catering and boutique hotel styling. It has floor to ceiling glass windows, an infra red sauna and an outdoor hot tub, and is the very epitome of a romantic escape. The architect designed house has been built with nature in mind; the windows invite the outside in, framing the surrounding woodland wonderland, and it makes the most of light, natural resources and the beautiful loch views.

Hire a water taxi to take you to a remote beach for the day, complete with a picnic hamper, go whale spotting, mackerel fishing, or try a guided walk to learn about your surroundings. And when all that gets a bit much, there’s a superb wraparound deck where you can settle back with a glass of wine and watch this wonderful world go by.
